We would need the following things to happen to be good:

-Olofsson scores 35 goals
- Skinner scoares 30+ goals
-Cozens and Mittelstadt are good (40+ points)
- Dahlin takes another step and becomes a 60 point 24 minute guy
- Ullmark seizes the net and has a .918 SV%
- other young players (samuelsson, thompson) contribute positively
- everyone stays healthy

Thats a lot of "ifs"

IF those happen, you'll be battling for 2nd-3rd in the conference lol. You don't need all those to happen to be a good. Everything that happened last year with just Skinner 30 goals and Ulmark 0.918 sv% will mean Buffalo is a playoff team IMO.

Ya the amount of "ifs" scare me. But tbh if Eichel elevates his game again and can play like he did against Ottawa even in 50% of the games then we can be a playoff contender.
