From what I have seen in TB posts, TJ doesn't wanna go to a Canadian market. I like the deal though
Dallas deal looks decent, although I think Killorn is worth more
That Sergachev deal is straight up robbery by the kings

Interesting Kings trade.

I think your way to light on money to Cernak.
Trade Gourde with major asset and pay him proper.

Dont see Johnson leaving Tampa.

I don't think the Flames would say no to that deal, I know I wouldn't.

I guess it depends on what they want to do with their limited cap space. Would probably take some big time convincing to get TJ to waive though.

Noted on Tyler Johnson, I can try to adjust that. My thought process on the Sergachev deal is say he gets an offer sheet in the $6,341,153 - $8,454,871 range. That nets the Bolts a 1st, 2nd and 3rd. For arguments sake say the 2nd and 4th from the Kings deal is about equal to the 2nd and 3rd from the hypothetical offer sheet since the Kings 2nd will be high. So basically it’s, “is Matt Roy worth a 1st round pick?” Based on who else they’ve traded 1sts away for, I’d say yes. Just doesn’t have the name recognition or draft pedigree of Sergachev.

Assuming TG is okay with the extra cap, Dallas says yes. I’d love to see Honka in Tampa in a more offensive system and think Killorn would be a great fit in Dallas. I also think TJ to Calgary is a fantastic fit. I’d try to get a first rounder in the Chev deal. Maybe Roy and a first for Chev and a mid round pick. Nicely done tho

Rebuilding teams don't trade away 1st round picks.

And you don’t get a player like Chev without one

That was my point. The Kings won't be trading for Sergachev.

Or the 35th overall in this draft.

If I were the LA general manager, I wouldn't be trading the winner of my internal Best Defenseman of the Year award plus the 35th overall pick in this draft for Sergachev.

But the OP has the right idea of Roy's value.
