A minor asset attached with Bozak could work too, but has to be the right team.

Drop the unnecessary stuff off the SJ trade. Just make it Letunov and a 3rd for Jake Allen. We're not giving up a 2nd for him.

Admittedly, I was just trying to find something that wasn't outrageous and to get Allen off the books in St. Louis.

It wasn't outrageous at all, it was actually a decent trade value wise. I just don't think the sharks would be willing to give up a 2nd in an Allen deal which brings back a goalie with a high cap hit (for our standards) and only one year left on his deal.

Sanford really doesn't excite me too much but maybe? I dunno how I'd feel about it to be honest. Think about how much you want the pick and then multiply that by 2. That's how much the Sharks need that pick. Our prospect pool is so thin that I really don't think we can afford to use it recklessly. We'd need some really good return to justify spending that pick if you know what I mean.
