I'd do it for a 4th tbh. He's nothing special.

yeah, but remember this is Doug Armstrong, and Craig Berube. He fits the team style so you are looking at a inflation of skill, and market value based on what he has done performance wise in his job. Look at what Reaves brought in....basically the same thing.

If theres such a thing as a valuable 4th liner, then that's what he is. Quick, physical, PK, dzone draws, affordable, team control... I'd say the Blues can hang onto him unless a top-of-the-round 2nd is the offer.

Exactly why I want him. Not to mention his deal is excellent and I hate the idea of signing fast to anything more than he's already getting. 2nd rounder works for me

Except you don't have one. I'm going to differ sharply from by Blues bros. He's more valuable than they claim, still improving, has enough skill to put up 15 goals and 35 points every year with limited ice time and plays a lot of hard shifts. Oh, and dirt cheap. Trading him does nothing but weaken a championship team for a future. I doubt you could pry him loose without blowing Army away.

I agree, no point in trading him when he plays such a strong role and the picks don't really help you guys. Makes sense.
