Yeah I think Barbashev would be a good option for the Leafs. I’m a fan of his and he shows decent offensive potential, but he’s somewhat buried on the Blues. Reckon we’d ask for a 2nd this year and a RHD prospect like Rasanen.

Yikes thats a high price for a 30 point guy. I cant see the leafs being interested with his caphit. They absolutely need guys making minimum on those bottom lines

Yeah I like Barbashev’s offense and PK as well. My issue is that he’s so bad defensively at 5v5. Bugs me that Kyrou can’t even get a d-zone start with his own line while a guy like Barbashev is getting torched.

Disagree on that last part. It all depends on the teams here but he can play 2C on some of the lesser talented ones for sure.

DeMelo may get that much from a team like the Leafs and I'm okay with it.

He is not even a very good 3c, any team thats playing him 2c is one that is at the bottom of the standings

Barbashev does not have that kind of value.
Max offer for him would be a 3rd rounder, if he is not defensively good then no interest in him.

Demelo will be sought after but not at 4 mil for that I’d jump on Braun or Dillon and 6 years is to risky for 2 decent years
Demelo will be had for around 3 years 3.25 AAV

Many people do not unterstand how strong Sunnys two play is.Look at the Takeaways/Giveaway stats this season .In t.a/g.a he is Top 5 in the whole league.
