Ok.. if I was Buffalo I would do that. The Montreal trade is interesting, I don’t see Ottawa doing that. I would rather have Tkachuk over Gaudreau.

So one thing to keep in mind about Calgary and Risto is that their assistant GM Chris snow who is a big analytics guy reccomended against trading for Ristolainen a couple years ago when Brian Burke was with the team....given that he’s still there, I can’t imagine they’d change their stance

That deal is god awful for Ottawa. Brady is going to be better than Gaudreau by the time Gaudreau needs a new contract. This would kill the Sens rebuild dead, and Gaudreau would leave to free agency before the Sens even made the playoffs. Not that it matters because Gaudreau isn't a playoff performer anyway.

Also Tierney and Brown are way better than Backlund and Ryan.

Ottawa laughs at that trade and then makes fun of you to other GMS at parties you aren't invited to.

Idk, OTT will probably trade Brady once he's due for a big contract anyway. Unless they find a new ownerwink

For your last section, read the trade dude I explained it was just a concept.

I wouldn't say "already" but he very well could be soon production wise.

I would think Saad for a 1st is a start. If you’re wanting Chicago to retain something has to come back the other way. Losing Saad and paying him $2M isn’t worth a first. IMO

Dude, at least put a little bit of effort in if you're going to burn the Sens. It's such a rich vein, but you go for the same lazy joke every time.

Also I'm aware it's just a concept. It's a bad concept. When people make bad suggestions, I'm going to point out they are bad. Welcome to Capfriendly.

I wouldn't do the Buffalo trade, but i think buffalo would consider it. I am not over impressed with Ristos overall game. He would require top PP minutes to produce the points he is known for and i would rather have Andersson or Hanafin take that spot going forward.

I do the Domi trade everyday of the week. He brings a lot of skill and i like his attitude and ability to stick up for himself and teammates when it is required. He can also play center if and when needed. Montreal doesn't do this trade thought. Two late firsts which may or may not pan out aren't worth the guaranteed production that Domi offers. If they do end up trading him they will want a more guaranteed return.

I would do the Ottawa trade but the Sens dont begin considering accepting. Gaudreau is better than Tkachuk right now but it also way more expensive and will leave in 2 years when they will be contending.

I wouldn't do the Saad trade. In a vacuum Saad might be able to get a 1st if he gets traded to a real contender or to a team with an extension agreed too, but with Calgary ridding themselves with to man picks in this proposal it would be a terrible idea to trade a first for a year of Saad no matter how much is retained.

I'm used to it, I'm suspended about every other month. If not, I've been a very good boy.
