If we move Loui it would be a deal like this. I hope we can save the cap space by moving other people but something like this may still happen.

Idk I’m thinking JB might ride it out & maybe exile him to Utica. All it will take is a healthy deep roster imo. If any prospect shows worthy it’ll happen.

Ride it out and exile him to Seattle is probably the plan but again, as a theory this is fine. Doesn't mean it's likely.

He's only owed 2mil over the final two years so there's a possibility they mutually terminate his contract instead of him playing in the minors, but if that doesn't happen I could see them just riding out the final years

umm go to vancouvers page and click on salary... he is owed $4M a year the last 2 not $2M

ok so his paid salary will be 1M next season, but season after he only has a 1mil bonus meaning salary is 3m so you were still off

2 mill over final two years would be 1m a year

as a canuck fan im pretty sure Jim B will not give up a first to rid us of louis contract.thats a huge price to pay.we got jt miller for a first,so it would be like giving away jt miller to get rid of louis contract.makes no sense at all.

ouch that is expensive for van .. maybe use the compliance buyout due to cap freeze ..
