When running a 21 man roster the Leafs are under the cap in this scenario. added the 2 extra players to show depth.

Thornton can obviously get more if he wanted. So can Spezza.

Easy pass from Ottawa. Two deepest positions are LW and LD, and neither of these players are worth a 2nd in my opinion.

man would it be nice to add Ekblad! Sadly I doubt we have the right pieces to pull it off. Thinking to even consider it they would come back with Nylander as a starting point.
