Description

These trades were chosen from looking at other trades lately, with a few twists.
They will never happen but would be great chatter if they did.
The third line is a banging and crashing line that can still play. Any of those players could be moved up to a top two position to change things up.
I think defence is improved and you have Jones that can fill in on any given night on either side.
I added the extra first round picks as was suggested on another post. It’s a little overpayment on both trades but Toronto fans really seem to want McDavid and Arizona fans really want the local boy so both have to pay extra for it.

Marner is not gong anywhere but the Hockey Hall of Fame as a Leaf who won multi Stanley Cups in Toronto. McDavid is comming to the Leafs for free as soon as he hits UFA to join the party with the Maple Leafs. The Leafs are right now on the cusp of greatness and everyone on CapFriendly will soon wake up.

This trade is so so bad. Try Matthews plus Nylander for Mcdavid. Not Matthews Marner and 2 firsts.
