This actually might be one piece too much. Can we turn Boldy or the 2020 first into something lower?

Maybe so, I would definitely start with an offer a little bit less, but in this situation, if you even wanted BUF to listen to an offer, I would think that you would have to go very big with a combo of cuurent player, good player prospect, and high picks. Not crazy about getting rid of Boldy, but I think you would need to give up a significant prospect

We pretty well agree, I just think it's one too much.

It's a hefty package but I'd probably be OK with giving that up for Eichel. The only thing I'm not sure about is Dumba's inclusion. Buffalo has too many RD's already and if they trade Eichel that to me indicates they're tearing down the core. Dumba will be 26 next season and is only signed for a few more years so I'm not sure he fits their window. I guess worst case scenario they can flip him for more picks/prospects...

The Sabres would never accept this offer. Not even close

buffalo would still be stuck with that horrible skinner contract..
this would be total restart on rebuild ..
2020 2nd would have to be changed to 2020 1st from PIT dumbo and risto would both be expendable ..
buffalo could end up with a big haul.
skinner dumba and 2nd for murray johnson and militec bellerieve.
skinner could be pens compliance buyout buffalo could buyout okposo .. with the cap freeze in effect a compliance buyout is gonna be in the works..
buffalo can go after pietrangelo and hall but i doubt they would land either of them.
. nice haul at the draft .. risto can be traded to van for sutter pearson javek and a pick..
that would be 3 possible 4 more players that could be flipped for picks and prospects.. a great start to a rebuild.. eichel is at the end of his ropes i do NOT see his patience last for more then 1 more losing season.. then he will demand a trade..
