Trading a top 4 dman for a bottom 6 F? Hagelin won't move the needle much.

Pass on Hagelin for Montour. Selling Montour way too low and Hagelin is exactly the type of player (see Vesey and Sheary) the Sabres don't need.

If you want to get rid of Hutton -- I think STL could be a good destination. I could see a Hutton+ for Allen deal . STL needs to shed salary, and they have familiarity with Hutton. Might be a good match.

I like that Hawks trade for the Sabres, wonder if Chicago would do that deal.

Have always liked Hagelin but that's a terrible trade for Buffalo.

We really wouldn't, its just the Dylan Strome for Mittelstadt and a 2nd trade we've all been rejecting for months. Only difference is that it is fortified with vitamin useless, via trading/retaining maatta (lol terrible) and getting Risto back (even more terrible)

What do you think it'd take to pry Strome out of Chicago?

Sorry I haven't seen any of those Strome to Sabres trades, thought the Maata for Risto swap might of worked for both teams, Sabres could use a LHD though I know everyone hates Ristolainen but whatever.. Lol

We don't want to trade Strome, so the value is likely more than they want to pay

We have no room for our current right handed defenseman, so Risto is a hard pass (even if I did like his game, which I dont)

Strome for Mits+ 2021 first
Or
Strome for Cozens. 1 for 1.

Hawks decline. Not even particularly close. Hawks don't want any of the BUF defenceman back (obvisouly joki and Dahlin are untouchable) in a deal for strome and a 2nd plus middlestat isn't enough.

Strome for 2021 1st and Middlestadt is a deal the Sabres should take.
