Description
Just trying to see what it would be like to sacrafice the future for one last run with the core. This is not the path I think the hawks should take, but as a fan it would be fun to watch. I tried to be reasonable with the trades and aquire players that theres at least a chance of being available

Sharks decline. Its not close. Were not rebuilding and if we were wed want prospects and picks for our Third best player and basically the face of the franchise for most fans in SJ.

I dont think hawks have the pieces wed want. And the ones wed want you wouldnt want to move anyway.

I don't think Hertl is possible, or Kovalchuk for that matter. If the hawks are trying to contend Seabrook and Koek can't be a pairing. Mitchell has to play by then.

I would add another pick and/or one of Kubalik, Nylander or Strome.

Sharks arent rebuilding. If we were though I would ask you add a good prospect or young player. Or some kind of asset worth a decent amount

Skip the kovalchuk signing, hopefully CBO seabrook, and then pray taht Petro is available. I think that’s the only way to get back to contention quickly.

They will have another shot at the cup. It wont be next season. No reason to rush into these type of trades. Aim to contend for the 2022 cup.

I like Beaudin for Rakell but Saad doesn’t really fit here. How about Alexander Nylander?

Since I'm a Minnesotan, I have a natural dislike for the Hawks, but I would cheer for this team.

Thought was saad was flipped for a 1st. Hawks need salary back the other way, so nylander won't work

How about we take on Zack Smith for an extra 4th?

It might work but we wouldn't add a pick unless it was like a 6th or 7th. Its only a 1 year deal and the buyout is cheap

Still a pass for me. D Prospects we have. Need forward prospects especially after losing our 2nd best forward.

Might be close to fair value, but an offensive RHD doesn’t really have appeal to the sharks right now

Realistically trading with Chicago isnt realistic with a Hertl move cause honestly we would need Beaudin in return to make it worthwhile and Chicago wouldnt be interested. Kurashev maybe. But like Buffalo fans on here wanting Hertl, they Hawks fans need to realize what Hertl means to the Sharks org as a whole. We dont need to move Hertl, so it wont be cheap.

Mitchell is an Offensive rhd, we already have one of the better offensive rhd prospects in the league (Merkley) while still having Burns and Karlsson. So thats not a fit at all.
