I was unaware you personally knew Jack. its great to know such insider information. how long has he hated buffalo

That was just plain weird to say.
You don’t need to know him to see Instagram posts and interviews and literally hear him show his displeasure with the team

No, hes mocking people who do those trades

Its a fair trade if/when pasta asks out. Ya know you just cant get fair value in these situations, and bruins fans, well, ya know, theyre gonna be disappointed in the return. Its just the way it is.

It was Rhetorical lmfao. You just talk to talk. Eichel is clearly frustrated with the process but to say he hates to city and wants out is just stupid

Bc being frustrated with the management and the process means he hates Buffalo. Lmfao. Clearly the same thing.

What interview or Instagram Instagram post did he say he hates the city of Buffalo and wants out? Please send the link?

This is the exactly point the bruins fans are trying to make for the Sabres fans and they wont listen lol

When a player wants out, you sometimes have to take less for them, and they wont listen lol

First off: dumb point to make. Its the Sabres fans that keep offering dumb trades so we are just offering things back
More importantly: they ARE NOT EQUAL!
Eichel hates Buffalo and wants out (thus lowering his value), but Pasta loves Boston and Boston loves him, so if the sabres DID want him, they would NEED TO overpay

I am curious as far as when Jack stated that he hates Buffalo and wants out. He just hates losing as does any competitive person. I am sure in a couple.of years when Krecji, Marchand and Bergeron are washed and the Bruins are mired in mediocrity Pasta is going to hate the losing genius going through at that point too.

Thats the problem right there, when Bergy, Krejci, and Marchy are old, Bruins will be good still: Mcavoy, Carlo, Krug, Urho, Studnicka, Pasta, Debrusk, Bjork, Frederick, Beecher... and they have three of the better NHL goalie prospects rn (not the best, but good ones)

Macavoy and Pasta are elite. Carlo is solid. Debrusk is a good player. The rest are average nhl players and the only high end prospect is Studnicka and he is likely a 2C in the NHL. Krug is UFA and will be on the decline not far after Krecji and Bergeron and Marchy. If they do sign him to a big UFA deal to keep him that is going to look ugly in a couple of years much like the Karlsson contract in SJ

Pretty decent analysis: but Urho is also a good prospect, and Krug isn’t gonna get an ugly contract, that’s what the bruins do really well.
They will be fine in the future.

That's if Krug decides he would rather stay in Boston then maximize his value. There definitely be offers for him elsewhere 7 x 10 in that range so if he wants to accept less money and term he can but this could be his only chance to hit it really big as a UFA.

He has expressed muiltple times that he would take a discount to stay in Boston. Look at recent bruins ACGMs. Do research then comment.

Krug is looking at 7 x 10 elsewhere, but 7x7 or 6 x 7 (being 6 years) in boston

He may choose to take a severe discount but he will have alot of pressure to maximize his value from elsewhere. It can be easily argued that Boston has the cap space to give him a fair market deal and if they won't they are proving they don't value the player and that can make a negotiation honsideways quickly.
bostonhockeynow.com/2020/01/24/bruins-buzz-will-nhlpa-try-to-prevent-krug-from-signing-hometown-discount-with-boston-bruins/

It is an interesting read coming from a Bruins writers perspective. I would suggest you take a look.
