Why can't E-Rod be the 3rd line center?

How much would Murray's extension cost? Anything north of 4.5 is a decline from Calgary

Cant see ottawa accepting that. theres no incentive to move gaborik, i think tierney fits the senators more than hallander and the cap dumps.

Better than Tierney

Not even close. Rodrigues couldn’t even crack the Buffalo lineup.

He was bad this year, but was really good last year, and was impressive in PIT

too much $$ for Tierney...$4M is too much. See Bonino and Bjugstad...bonino signed with NSH and BJugstad gets traded in 98% of ACGMs bc the pens can't afford him...

Likely the case. I don't see Pittsburgh moving either this summer until they know who they want to keep next year.

I mean knowing Melnyk hes probably mad pissed hes paying i guy that wont ever play another game. Im sure he'd rather a guy like Bjugstad who will be healthy come next season plus they can retain salary at the deadline and flip him for a pick.

Can the Flames send back Rittich and take on Bjugstadt as a cap dump?

I'd be happy with Murray and even happier if the Flames could get him extended long term (6 or 7 years) for about $5.5 to $6.0 million per.

End the goalie carousel once and for all and have him through his prime years.

Tierney, Gaborik for Johnson, Bjugstad, Hallander, 2nd, 2nd.

Pens coaches like johnson. Bjugstad is a 20 goal scorer when healthy. The Ottawa trade is trash for the Pens. You can remove Hallander and both 2and and Pittsburgh probably still passes.

Healthy Bjugstad > Tierney btw

A leprechaun > than Tierney too, but the problem is, just like a leprechaun, a healthy Bjugstadt doesn't exist.

Also, Bjugstadt has scored 20 goals once in his 7 year career, and that was 5 years ago.

He had ove 20 twice and 19 in 17-18. But more importantly, once he came to Pittsburgh last year he scored at a 23 goal pace. Small sample size but still holds.

gaborik is eligible for insurance payouts though. melnyk pays him but thats mostly insurance money, he doesnt have to pay that much, similar to callahan.
