for those who need to understand why Petry for Kap is fair. Cause without statistics people often say one player is better than another without any proof. Petry with Rielly could be a solid pairing and allow for the leafs to keep pucks out of the net while keeping up their amazing goal scoring.

He was on pace for a little over 70 points this year but he could definitely do better with a better team. He'd probably play on the 2nd line if Svechnikov plays 1st line and Foegele plays 3rd line.

Except Bettman and the NHL have already stated/confirmed that even if a play-in team gets booted and subsequently *wins* the lottery the max they can move up is four spots.....

Montreal isn't getting the #1 overall pick, Odds still heavily favor Ottawa at 25%. Hab fans need to give up the notion of landing Lafreniere it's not happening. And i seriously doubt that a play in team has any chance what so ever of landing the number 1 pick.
