It's too much and signing Ho-Sang to bury him in the AHL is pointless.

honestly if Kapenan goes for a RHD i would put Ho-Sang on the third pairing. He is good just hard to coach but as keefe showed with Kapenan, he can deal with these types of people

The purpose of starting Ho-Sang with Marlies is to learn the Leafs system.
I fully believe Kapanen will be traded the year after and there is Ho-Sang's chance.

Hard to tell since he's only played 50 games but he was correct offensively and strong defensively. A 3rd maybe? Some Pens fans can probably tell you more than me @Pens3lieve @mhockey91

If you’re paying Lafferty 2 million to be a 3rd line centre you’re gonna be disappointed lol. He’s a solid depth guy but definitely not a 3C

yeah Lafferty's ceiling is on the 3rd line, but rn he's a fine 4th liner.

I wouldn't give up a second for him as the title suggests but I'd be ok giving up a 4th and a prospect or a third but not much more. I don't know him that well but if I had to guess I'd say his ceiling is a 3rd line player but he'll probably be more of a tweener. I like the NYI deal I think it works well for both teams. I'm not a fan of the Florida deal but I like Johnsson although I understand he's likely going to be a cap casualty. And I like the Buffalo deal. All in all it looks good to me.

He ain’t worth 2 million a year. That’s for sure. He’s a solid depth option. I’d say he ends up a 3rd liner. Maybe a poor man’s rust at best. 🤷‍♂️ But it’s hard to judge since he hasn’t played much and been thrown around the lineup with no consistency.
