Any other ones I'm forgetting??? And no this is not a troll, I'm just going back through. My next one you will understand what I will be getting at....
whoever thought trading a 30 goal scorer for a guy who barely is top 4 with the Ducks was a good idea needs to get his/her head checked out cause that would be very bad trade for the leafs.
I think it was a calgary fan who suggested the Gaudreau trade which leaf fans said no to as resigning Gaudreau would be a nightmare for Dubas and he seems to be having a down year while Nylander is proving his haters wrong about his contract.

It was a trend for awhile, but you have to remember this was when Nylander wasn’t going to re-sign at all. Which made his value down a little. Toronto argued for more but Anaheim fans said it wasn’t worth it.

I don't think he means just Toronto fans. Carolina fans suggested Nylander for Pesce for example (and I maintain that's still a fair price, bite me if you think otherwise)

It’s fair, but Carolina could get more out of Peace and Toronto fans think they could get more for Nylander which is where the arguments lay. Tbh it’s very even as it is now but Toronto would throw a fit.

It's not even Canes fans. Most non-leaf fans think it's fair

yeah I remember hearing the offers teams were offering for Nylander, some were just plain insane. Still good thing that Manson trade never happened otherwise Dubas would have been the shortest running GM in history
Heck if the blues continued that backwards spiral last season Nylander for Pietrangelo almost happened. Their gm though was reluctant and wanted to see how Binnington did and luckily for them he worked out.

That wouldn’t be as bad as the ROR trade that’s all I can say.

The thing was that trade wasnt as time defying as the blues potentially cucking themselves. Last year the blues almost screwed themselves out of a cup as before Nylander was signed, Friedman reported Pitrangelo was offered as the gm thought the season was over for the team. Could u imagine that. If that happened the Leafs would have acquired muzzin and their Dcore would have been terrifying. But it also would have been sad as the blues comeback would have never happened.

Agreed, Pesce is a shut down machine. Him and Muzzin would be dominant.
