Top 10 scorers ppg differences from the teams 2nd highest scorer

Created by: Sabres923
Team: 2019-20 Custom Team
Initial Creation Date: Jun. 26, 2020
Published: Jun. 26, 2020
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
For Mcdavid and Marchand I took the 3rd highest scorer.

Top 10 scorers PPG differences from the 2nd biggest scorer on that team.

10 Eichel 1.14 PPG.
Reinhart 0.72 PPG.

9 Matthews 1.14 PPG.
Marner 1.13 PPG.

8 Kane 1.2 PPG
Towes 0.85 PPG.

7 Kucherov 1.25 PPG
Stamkos. 1.15 PPG.

6 Marchand 1.24 PPG.
Bergeron. 0.91 PPG.

5 Mackinnon 1.34 PPG.
Makar. 0.87 PPG.

4 Panarin 1.37 PPG.
Zibanejad 1.31 PPG

3 Pastrnak 1.35 PPG.
Marchand 1.24 PPG.

2 Mcdavid 1.51 PPG.
Nugget Hopkins 0.93 PPG.

1 Draisaitl 1.54 PPG.
Mcdavid 1.51 PPG.

AVS fans like to bring up how Mackinnon had the highest scoring difference in the league, but they ignore PPG. I’m not denying that he didn’t have a great season, but he got help when they returned. This really shows how much Eichel did this year and another reason why he should win the hart trophy.

I like how you did that:
and it further shows how Mackinnon wins then

Drai is 9.5 / Mcdavid is 9
Pasta is 9.5 / Marchy is 8.5
Mackinnon is 9.5 / Makar is 7.5

if they are tied at 9.6, but the next best guy on the Avs is only 7.5

So Mackinnon is most valuable

There's a 15 point gap between Draisaitl and MacKinnon and MacKinnon played on a much better team. Their values aren't that close.

How are Eichel and Pastrnak worth more than McDavid on your scale? That's just stupid. McDavid outscored both of them while playing fewer games.

I don't disagree. but again hes more valuable than/ played better than McDavid this yeah. I believe McDavid got hurt and they are still in a playoff spot.

I believe Mcdavid missed 7 games tops.

Mackinnon was missing Landeskog for 10+ and Rantenen for 30+

Yeah injury is not a valid piece of the puzzle here. A lot of oilers fans try to use it, and then get mad when someone points out the Avs injuries which further prove the point

Again, and i know a lot of people wanna argue and make stuff up, but if you look it up, Mcdavid and Drai played together about 60% of the time, and scored a good amount of points (nearly 40%) on the PP when they were together 95% of the time.

im not mad at all bc Draisaitl will win. avs are a much more talented team from top to bottom.. honestly idgaf either way I just laugh when people diminish a player bc he has ONE other good player on his team. it goes what McDavid leon and RNH then a massive drop off as far as talent

An awesome way to look at it, and you certainly made it clear here.
Good job!

You're way off. Here, I've even added McDavid in so you can see how far off you are - not that I expect anything but blind rhetoric from either of you:

This is each player's points divided into his teams total offense, to give an accurate perspective of how much the team depended on the player for offensive success.

Draisaitl: 49.33%
McDavid: 43.50%
Pastrnak: 41.85%
Panarin: 40.77%
Eichel: 40.41%
MacKinnon: 39.41%

be honest though who else can they play with if the team needs a goal? like the Oilers sucks. they have McDavid leon and RNH then there is a massive drop off..... like James neal was a top 6 guy for them... im saying this and it might sound dramatic but there winger depth has to be one of the worst in the NHL...bottom 8 right? (no actual evidence or research just going off names)

I don't know how many times I've called you on this, but you still insist on lying about it.

Draisaitl with McDavid at 5v5: 553:21
Draisaitl w/o McDavid at 5v5: 610:24
Percentage together: 47.5%

I don't know why you keep spouting incorrect information, anyone can look it up.

My bad. Still, Draisaitl is 15 points ahead of Pastrnak and Panarin and 17 ahead of MacKinnon. All 3 played on better teams offensively. McDavid also outscored all three even as he missed a bunch of games due to injury. So my point stands: your ratings are stupid.

a few points I would like to make....

1) just because Mcdavid and Draisaitl both score a ton of points doesn't diminish their individual success . To be clear Oilers don't make the playoffs without either player. they both massively impact the success of this team. Oiler and Leafs had similar records now please tell me what team on paper is better? rhetorical yeah if Draisaitl wins its bc he was the best player this season by a mile excluding Mcdavid)

2) Mack is on a stacked team... more than Draisaitl . look at his winger depth compared to the Oilers. Panarin had an amazing season but they more than likely don't make the playoffs and considering the goal is to make playoffs and win the cup it hardly matters how important his contributions are. obviously they made it with a pandemic but normal circumstances they probably don't. Eichel lmfao his team didn't make it with 24 teams making it he had a great year but his team improved and the results are all the same. hes not the MVP. again bc his value to the team doesn t matter since they aren't competing for a cup...

3) THE MAIN GOAL IN HOCKEY IS TO WIN A CUP. IF YOUR TEAM DOESNT MAKE THE PLAYOFFS YOU SHOULDNT WIN THE MVP. THAT DOESNT MEAN YOU ARENT GOOD/ ONE OF OR THE BEST PLAYER IN THE NHL BUT TO BE THE MOST VALUABLE PLAYER YOU NEED TO ATLEAST BE ABLE TO WIN THE PRIZE...… GREAT EXAMPLE IS THAT THE CONN DOESNT GO TO THE BEST PLAYER IN THE PLAYOFFS IT GOES TO THE MOST VALUABLE PLAYER ON THE WINNING TEAM (normally atleast a finals team player)

I guess Panarin, Hellebuyck are out.

MacKinnon's better offensively imo. Enough talk about offense, Draisaitl is poor defensively.

#29 is good/elite in literally everything except defense (average).

Ur right! Dont worry, its just for MVP race, they only sorta care about the rest of the team (as people have said about teams that dont make the playoffs). Whats important here is that Mcdavid was just as important to the team as Drai was (just as Marchy was just as important to the team as Pasta was on my own team)

lol wtf are you talking about? Draisaitl linemates are yamamotto and ennis at one point? my point is that Draisaitl and McDavid are able to succeed despite having average teammates....that's what makes you an MVP. they are able to lift an average team to the playoffs. Boston is loaded so even without Pasta and Marchand they still have a deeper wing than the oilers..... you try so hard to make a point but its just nonsense....

What the hell is wrong you you? I am my own god damn person. Just because I am kind and agree with 3 guys a lot who shares similar views as myself ( @McGruff @Silkysmooth42 and @bhavikp27 ) doesn’t mean I’m any of their backups. You guys are actually idiots if you believe that. Like honestly: how do I know @CD282 isnt @Capitalfail67 s backup? You don’t have a picture and agree with everything he is saying? That’s really suspicious! Did I just “expose you” ? Don’t be dumb
