I think the Sens are better off with Stutzle and Drysdale. Besides, I remembered the Kings offered a pick to move from 33rd to 32nd to draft Kaliyev but the Sens weren't interested in making that trade even though they had their eyes set on Pinto.

They really want Byfield and he is the perfect center to play with Tkachuk. That seems way more deadly and a better fit than Tkachuk and Stutzle. We'll see, it's a win win in my opinion. They could be going home with Byfield, Kupari, Barron(or a top 10 pick if they trade up NYI 1st) as well as possible Grundstrom or Durzi.

Also we are talking about player of a completely different caliber than Kaliyev and Pinto.

I like Kupari, but I don't think it makes sense for Ottawa to do this. If LA wants Stutzle over Byfield, make them draft Stutzle 2nd. Sens would be better of with Dysdale/Rossi/Raymond than Kupari.

i dont see this happening. If we do a trade its to move up from 5 to 2 to nab both Byfield and Stutzle. You get Drysdale at 5 and additional assets in the trade likely the Isles pick which could be a top 20 pick

nah the player at 5 has way more potential than a guy like Kupari and Grundstrom. Imo Drysdale and Raymond are better than Turcotte

I just don't see how it makes sense. I think it's just better for Ottawa to draft and develop two stars on their own. At best it ends up a wash, but I think it's much more likely to be a steal in LA's favour than Ottawa's.
