Very tough decision for the Sens. Rossi is an incredible talent.

Maybe so but that doesn't mean the Canes "laugh" if offered Gaudreau. I bet they probably think long and hard about that one, because saying Necas might put up 99 points is one thing, him doing it is a whole other.

I really think it's highly likely Johnny would sign an extension in Carolina. It's really close to home, but a lot less of a pressure cooker / fish bowl that he'd have to deal with in other markets out that way.

The trade is a minor part of the GM posting, which has clearly gained quite a bit of traction/attention (nice work!). As a Devils fan, I’d be pissed to see them move a 3rd for a 5’10” 33 year old center. That pick could be better spent elsewhere (like every Blackhawks fan taking it for Ollie Maata).

It depends on the playoffs and if they already have a deal worked out with Seattle. Those are really the key factors.
