I wouldn't doubt Toronto getting it. There's something fishy going on within the head of the NHL. Lottery is broken and the NHL sucks.

I have a theory that 1OA will go to a Canadian playoff team in hope's of bringing the cup back to Canada. If that's the case I am switching to college hockey and never watching an NHL game again.

Perfetti is good, but I'd be pretty disappointed If Ottawa passed on Raymond for him. Raymond is such a good fit with Josh Norris imo.

I had a theory, and man is it coming true, it was the hockey gods felt sorry for us and wanted us to win a cup so they gave basically are giving us Laf as all signs are pointing to it, Losing to a he who shall not be named, acquiring ceci, Babcock being fired, all the injuries happening, the signs are there Dubas saw the future and got us ready for it.

In general us getting Laf would be the hockey gods going no more excuses get a ****ing cup already

Not getting Byfield

Stützle just seems like the exact player LA would want to develop to me, so I think Byfield is joining OTT. It’s a hunch of course.

For the sake of OTT fans and everything they’ve gone through in the Melnyk era, I hope Byfield develops quickly into a stud.

LA takes Stutzle . He's the second best player in the draft and you don't pass that up.
It's not even a comparison. He is the unanimous choice 2nd best player.
Byfield on the other hand has people dropping him out of the top 5. He's been called lazy for taking plays off and there are questions around his work habit.. He got by being 6'4 playing against smaller players. That's not gonna cut it at the NHL level. Think pool party because that's what you are basically getting. High chance of bust with him.
He's gonna drop, multiple people are calling that.
That's my guess as well. Stutzle on the other hand might be the fastest player in the draft and has the best hands. The difference between him and Laf is very small. People prefer Laf due to his style of play. He's bigger, more physical and shows a lot of power in his game while still having finesse. And his motor doesn't stop, every play every shift.

I think OTT snaps up Dry with the 3rd pick. He's hands down the best defense man in the draft. He's got all star caliber. You won't get another chance at him.
They will then snap up Perfetti. If he's still on the board.

What the **** kind of bull**** trade "offer" is that supposed to be for Bjorkstrand?

Do we get to follow up with a proposal of Batherson for a 3rd?

Not getting Byfield

Sens are deadlocked in 1 of Byfield/Stutzle so there's a chance at getting either player. Besides, Kings already have Vilardi, Turcotte and Kopitar at C so I wouldn't be surprised them for taking Stutzle who can also play on LW.

Here’s the whole thing though, if you’re drafting at #2 overall you take the best player period. Byfield is clearly and has clearly been the 2nd best player.
