A realistic option

Description
This team may not be a contender but it's an upgrade.

Ideally the league would give us a CBO for Okposo but it won't happen
I would also trade Ristolainen after the season for a second round pick to a team with space on their protection list

Blues say no thanks. They can get a better offer than that.

You save 2M in cap space and probably upgrade your backup since Hutton was a beast with St.Louis two years ago. Buffalo offer a change of scenary for Allen...Both come off the books after that season, it's a win-win situation IMO

Allen was one of the best backups this year, the opposite of Hutton. Both are overpaid but Allen is still better and no guarantee Hutton is the same Hutton he was two years ago. Add a late pick at least

Allen is a 1B starter and Hutton is a decent back up, better include a 3rd rounder or a decent prospect. We will take Tage back if needed

lundell would be the best option also if you’re saying that those three players won’t be available a mock would shape up like this: laffy, byfield, stutzle, drysdale, raymond, perfetti, holtz...that means rossi would still be on the board

Forget it, you won't receive anything that valuable for an overpaid goltender when the cap stays flat and with tons of better goalie availible

lol you're high, plenty of teams could beat your offer. Go look at Allen's stats

Nah, dude. We'd be paying you to give you easily the better goalie, saving exactly 1.25M. Allen doesn't need a change of scenery, while Hutton's one big year in STL was a distinct outlier.

Well peretti is available in your mock lol.

But i would take rossi Quinn and Jarvis over Sanderson or trade back. I swear I'm gonna be pissed if we take sanderson we have so many d man prospects ready to make the jump it just doesn't make sense to pick another
