Pretty sure Cole Caufield has committed to his Sophomore season at Wisconsin. And Montreal isn't trading their 2020 1st round pick knowing full well that they've a very strong chance of getting Alexis Lafreniere now.

I'm a Habs fan, and I would NEVER trade all that for Jack Hugues. He's not an Auston Matthews or Crosby. He's more of a RNH.

Even RNH might be a stretch, Hughes could be the next Yakabust, who had 31 points in 48 GP his rookie year. Hughes had only 21 PTS in 61 GP this year. RNH had 52 pts in 62 GP in his rookie year.
