Description
Im guessing the odds of either of them falling to eight are slim. Having said that I’d trade the pick. Anyone wanna make an offer?

there's a decent chance Perfetti is there, someone will take Drysdale over him, and there's a decent chance someone takes Holtz before him too, Rossi being there would be just dumb... I would like quit being an NHL fan...

Perfetti might be there at 8th, but i'd be shocked if Rossi were. But funnier things have happened. His size might scare some teams off.

I think Sanderson might be our choice if he's still on the table.

Try and move up to #4 then you can get them. DET may be willing to slide down after missing out on the big tickets. Mitts, Pilut and #8 for #4.. or something with Montour. Really depends what DET wants to select

I will lose my mind if we use the pick on a defensemen.

to expound up on this:

2019 draft: round 1, 31st overall ryan johnson LHD
2018 draft: round 1 1st overall rasmus dahlin LHD,
2018 draft: round 2, 32nd overall Mattias Samuelsson LHD

Henri Jokiharju RHD: acquired for Alex Nylander, buffalos 2016 1st round pick 8th overall
Colin MIller RHD: acquired for 2021 2nd round pick and 2022 5th round pick
Brandon Montour RHD: acquired for brendan guhle (buffalos 2015 2nd round pick) and the 29th overall pick of the 2019 NHL draft

other recent picks used on defense:

2018: 4th, 4th, 7th rounders
2017: 3rd, 4th rounders
2016: 3rd, 5th, 5th, 7th rounders

1) I agree, but firstly it was Botterill and his staff was gaining defenders.
2) Sanderson looks really interesting and he has some connection with Buffalo and Jeremiah Crowe.
3) Dahlin, Jokiharju and Sanderson, this could be a very good top 4 for ten years in advance.

Logically, of course, we should take the forward, but I remember how Murray instead of Sergachev and McAvoy took Nylander. For example, I do not really like Holtz and Perfetti, I am not completely sure of Lundell and Quinn, this is not an easy choice.

Great point.

Wingers are always easier to acquire than D. If you don't draft them, they are tough to get.

To talk wingers, here's my thoughts on a few
Perfetti- didn't take enough faceoffs for me to consider him a C. The lack of speed is a little concerning.
Quinn- I know he didn't play with Rossi, but how does he produce when he's the star of the show? Doubt Rossi is in the O next year.

I think that the odds are high that at least one of Rossi or Perfetti is there. Think about Anaheim at #6. Their biggest needs are at RD and RW. If Drysdale goes in the top 5, leaving no other viable RDs available, then Anaheim will likely pick Holtz, which means either Perfetti or Rossi is a lock at #8.

Rossi will be gone, Perfetti might be there but he will almost certainly be a LW in the NHL so you probably dobt want him. Take Lundell, he fills Sabres needs and is NHL ready
