I don't think the Devils can afford to give up more middle picks this year - especially if their conditional firsts don't trigger. I'd counter with a 2021 3rd

Where is the value off in your opinion?

Woof, that Rangers trade...

The fact that you called him "Laffy" has just cosmically cursed our chances. Congratulations, and thank you for failing.

Georgie value is pretty high. The Rangers already turned down Kapanen. That means the team is putting that value as at least a late 1st.

Smith is a pretty good blue line defender. Rangers could retain a mil and prob get a 5th.

George is good but id disagree on the value of kap, hes at most a second. Not to mention goalies have less value overall anyways for whatever reason.

I figured CDH would be an improvement on smith, smith is a bottom pairing guy and CDH is middle pairing but can play top pairing minutes albeit injury prone.

If i took out the pick coming to us and made it a 2021 second going to NYR would that change your mind?

Yeah that’s really far off from where the team is valuing him. The team has made it clear they’re not trading him unless for a ransom.
