I would not do that Carolina trade. Nylander > Pesce

That would certainly be a fair deal (Nylander for Pesce) but I wouldn't do this because of Foegele's upside. He's like a mini-Kapanen. It's not worth it.

Nylander probably is better because has a longer term deal. And Foegele probably more upside as a 2nd-3rd liner than Dermott who looks more like a bottom 4 than top 4.
But Carolina just traded Faulk and has lots of LD depth. They aren’t short on scoring on the wing. I like the deal for TO but it probably isn’t a go for Carolina.

Ducks + Manson, Buffalo + Ristolainen/ Miller seem like more likely trade candidates. None are likely to get Nylander back though

why would we move nylander, keep him trade kapenan for Murphy or Severson. By keeping Nylander we guarantee our top 2 lines will be deadly.
