Miller is closer to what Toronto needs than Ristolainen and ill bet most Leafs fans don’t want either for a number of reasons. It’s Jokiharhu they want and Buffalo isn’t doing that.

It's a shame though. I would really like to take a shot on Miller, but it just doesn't make sense for the Leafs for a couple reasons.

Stars wouldn’t trade Oleksiak for Johansson 1-for-1, add in the 2nd to Buffalo and it becomes an even quicker “no”
