Edmonton rejects all of them. Lafreniere is going to provide more than these packages plus (and this is imperative in a flat cap world) do it all for about $3.5M per year including bonuses.

These trades are not all equal. Overall I wouldn't make most of these trades just to get laffy. No doubt he is a very good and special player.

The only one that I Would consider if I was the Oilers is the Sens one and even then I would probably just keep Lafreniere. Now if we could add Neal to the trade then I say deal for sure

OTT wouldnt accept that. Counter with: SJ 1st + NYI 1st + Connor Brown for Neal Russel and 1OA.

Solve all your cap problems, give you 20M in cap relief. You get Stutzle or Byfield, another great player at 15 from NYI, and Connor Brown with built in chemistry with McDavid

Obviously I know the optics of trading away a 1OA isnt good, so honestly if OTT had to add a little bit a la a 2nd and a 4th or something or equivalent prospect value we could that

Looks like the cap isnt going up for 3 years. Moving cap hit is only gonna get more expensive
