Not sure if the Canadiens want another LW sniper. Especially giving up a good (somewhat) prospect + a chance to land Lafreniere (even if they don't, Holtz, Quinn or Lundell are options).

Unfortunately none of this works as there most likely won’t be a CBO

I'm thinking, Schwartz to NJ for the Arizona pick if it's 10/11. And take Lundell.

Still not sure if either team would

Maybe he forgot to include Tarasenko going to MTL
Pretty sure he doesn’t think Schwartz is worth a top10 pick + Poehling

Why would you trade Schwartz and Dunn to free up cap space and then turn around and sign Hall

Trading Schwartz would be stupid.Blues are in a win now modus. They not give up a 60-65 point guy who has a very good 2 way game.

Dumping cap isn't going to get a good return as their are many sellers and few buyers because so many teams are cap strapped. IMO the Hall signing is a mistake.

I like Schwartz a lot but I don’t think MTL does that, he has hit 60pts once and has never played a full NHL season due to Injuries so giving up the possible #1 pick I doubt they do it, Lafrenière can be a franchise changer. I don’t even think they do it for the 9th pick honestly.

I’m not saying that Allen isn’t worth a 1st - but the Devils decline this. I don’t think they spend future assets for a backup goalie when they can sign one this offseason.

Allen isn’t worth a 1st but Dunn is. It’s Dunn + Allen
