Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if both Raymond and Holtz are off the board when the Devils are up. Laf, Byfield and Stutzle likely as top 3. I can see Detroit going with Raymond since they lack righthanded forwards and they selected a lot of defensemen in the first rounds of recent drafts. And I think Ottawa will select either Rossi (if they get Stutzle at #3) or Holtz (if they get Byfield at #3 and Detroit picks Raymond)

Tampa may be in a cap crunch but they're gonna want one of the THREE 1st round picks the Devils have for Sergachev or Cirelli.. Lol

I'd be surprised to see Raymond get past Detroit at 4 or Ottawa at 5.

As a devils fan, I think both teams hang up. Wood is practically a cap dump, and we arent taking back any big contracts in return. Even with a compliance buyout, the bolts still need to move another piece in order to sign all 3 of their big RFAs to discounted deals. They cant take on the almost 3mm in wood.
