I'm staying at 6 if thats the cost to go to 4, Drysdale isnt worth that much, I would rather take Rossi/Raymond if Drysdale goes before us

I think 1 of terry and the boston first has to be part of it, detroit would probably like it without the 3rd anyway, and I don't see why you would want rossi with zegras, steel, lumdestrom and morand in the system

Drysdale isnt worth trading up for at all, the forwards at the top end are amazing and Ducks should stand pat and take BPA

Pass. I don't think we'd move up for Drysdale. Maybe Byfield, but not at that price.

Because we're ok with moving one of Steel or Lundestrom to wing to fit Rossi in? I mean, even Rossi might end up a winger. Kids being compared to Marchand without the edge.

All that to move up two spots?! And for what, to get a kid we have a good chance at getting anyway? That's a hard pass. I wouldn't bundle just our two firsts to move up to four. That's ridiculous. I want the best d-man in the draft but not that badly.

I'm not sure you'd have to offer that much for DET to move down 2 spots, especially if Stevie has his board setup with equal grades on Drysdale, Raymond, and Perfetti, he could slide down 2 spots and get a guy he values. Also, I believe he values it in this order: Raymond, Perfetti, Drysdale.

I had said previously that I thought NJD was a good target, because they have multiple 1sts, and need a dynamic dman (even if Drysdale is a step behind Hughes and Makar). The trade I proposed was 7OA plus the ARI pick (as long as they get it) for 4OA.

Exactly.

It pretty much goes:

Tier 1:
Laf

Tier 2:
Byfield/Stutzle

Tier 3:
Drysdale/Rossi/Raymond/Holtz/Lundell/Quinn/Perfetti/Sanderson/Askarov in whatever order.

The only way I could see Drysdale making it to 6 is if Detroit or Ottawa goes crazy and takes Askarov at 4 or 5, but the Sens have a bevy of goaltending options coming, and Yzerman would have to go way off the board to do that, which I guess is what he did with Seider last year...

Either way, I really don't see him making it to 6, and I also wouldn't move all of those assets to move up 2 spots. If he doesn't slip, I wouldn't be opposed to moving 31 OA+Terry+Something for a decent RD (You're not getting anything great, but something stable would be nice).

That remains to be seen. But if he doesn't, big deal. This isn't Drew Doughty 2.0 we're talking about here. No reason to give up SO MUCH to get a player we don't need THAT badly.
