    Ya thought I gave up a bit much. Would change it to Holl+1st. Maybe even just the first. He's a 2C and being retained 4M but I just wanted a ridiculous offence

    Ducks decline.
    1) Ducks would only trade Getzlaf for an overpay that would greatly help
    2) Getzlaf publicly said he’s not waiving his NTC

    LMAO not happening! Not only is there no chance we retain anywhere close to that, we aren't trading Murphy for Kerfoot, Johnsson or Engvall so leaf fans please stop with these proposals

    This is a sizeable overpay that would greatly help the rebuild. Might come to play one season (or worst-case do a deal at TDL) to come to his home country and play for the cup one last time

    i dunno how much ice time you think Getzlaf would get behind Tavares and Matthews to contribute to said riduculous offence. If that's what you want, you'd be better off throwing picks at an RHD who can score and not loading up the backend with ones who cant and arnt great transition defenders.

    I agree but the only place I could see him waiving for is Calgary because he played there for the Hitmen

    The Hawks trade is horrible. The Hawks have zero interest in either Kerfoot (he'd be their 4th line center) or Engvall. Oh and they're not retaining on Murphy in any trade.

    You're right, but Getzlaf isn't waiving his NMC and ANA won't move him because of loyalty. Getzlaf will retire a Duck.
