Sure, Manson is nice, but probably not even worth a first. Literally no need for Desleurier. Guhle isn’t worth a first. About 2 firsts and a second, maybe less. Let’s no forget you’re retaining on Marner. So you offered about half or less than you’d need. I’d say add Hampus Lindholm and Trevor Zegras before the leafs even consider.

Well, there are many Leaf fans that want Marner gone. I felt it would be interesting to look at how he’d fit into other teams.

This is really sad to read your comment. You need to wake up and put your hockey knowledge to better use and start smelling the roses as life is too short.

Leafs regard Nylander to a higher degree than Marner because of the contract.

Another incorrect statement by you which is a constant trend when you comment about Marner and you just keep losing more and more creditability.

If the Leafs are trading Marner, they're not retaining salary for one, and two, that's a putrid return.

Believe me they are never going to trade Marner. There is only one guy on this CapFriendly site who thinks they would trade him and i will give you one guess.

I think Manson could definitely fetch a first at least. Deslaurier adds toughness to the leafs, plus he’s got some skill. Maybe Lindholm for Marner would work, but they most certainly are not going to add Zegras.

Well, there’s not much hockey going on so all we can do is make speculations like this.

So sad that you only have the ability to make these negative posts about a player that is everything that is right about being a hockey player. You can do alot better than this.

Lindholm for Marner in itself is not fair. Zegras and Manson AT LEAST must be added. But the bottom line is, Marner is not getting traded unless the return is almost equal to what the oilers got for Gretzky, or a young defenceman like Cale Makar.
