Tiers Through the First Round

Tiers Through the First Round

Draft Class: 2020

Description
More confident with the first round, not too sure about the second.

Each tier- players that I think are interchangeable in skill level.

Within a given tier I would draft any of the players, but I would not go down a tier to draft a player unless its a position of need.

To me you have way too many tiers. For example above picks 4-12 are in one Tier.

I agree too many tiers, however the first round is accurate. Pick 4-8, then 9-12 are different levels

Sorry i'm not sure that Tim Stutzle is a tier 2 player, I bet Marco Rossi will be every bit as good as Tim Stutzle if he has the right team mates playing alongside him.

Stutzle has already shown he can translate his play to a fairly high level (about 1/3 the NHL), while Rossi hasn't. I think Stutzle and Rossi have similar ceilings, but since Stutzle has a far higher floor he is the much better prospect. Stutzle is undoubtedly Tier 2.

pretty sure these tiers are based off the draft eligible players compared to eachother. Just because say Noel Gunler is tier 6 doesnt mean he will be a bust but instead there are 6 levels of players between him an Lafreniere.

Obviously. My point is that a tier per his definition is a group of interchangeable players. So as I used players 4-12. I wouldn’t call you crazy whatsoever if you had holtz or Quinn or perfetti ahead of Raymond. I think all players 4-12 are interchangeable and Mercer is interchangeable with gunler meaning they’d be in the same tier.
