Montreal passes not enough insentive to take on Komarov. A 1st or 2nd at the very least would have to be added. We are not in the business of helping other teams get better without improving our own

Not trading for Gaudreau. Leddy isn't worth that much. Think Aho will move on in a couple of years.

Add a 1st or 2ND? ?? You're on drugs. It's a strong draft, plus you guys are a young team who could use him. GM's love uncle Leo. He's still a great penalty killer and good 4th liner.

Leo can't play consistently anymore given his contract. He's cooked.

Here's an even bigger question: why would Calgary WANT to trade Gaudreau?

Danault Lehkonen Armia Byron are all better than him on the PK and probably Thompson if he gets resign, Suzuki too. We have literally no room for him. Komarov + 2nd we still decline, useless trade for us

We already have more affective 4th liners that play with speed in Weal, Byron and Evans and wod skate circles around Komarov. Plus we already have great veteran leaders in Petry, Weber, Chiarot, Danault and Gallagher. We don't need Komarov so if you want to "dump" him on us your going to have to pay to do that.

That offer is not too good to be true! Gaudreau is easily worth more than that! Think about what the Coyotes gave up for Hall then add cause Hall was a pending UFA

Hall > Gaudreau but as an Isles fan I want neither.

Makes no sense to trade 83 points with more team control on one of the 2 forwards for 70 points in 2 forwards with lesser control.

I would say Hall = Guadreau but the fact that Hall was a rental means Guadreau gets slightly more due to the fact he still has 2 years left

Hall is a better overall winger than Gaudreau too. Also, with Hall there's higher chances of getting the 1st overall pick if you miss the playoffs. 😁😁😁

Doesn't really matter what team you send him to it is still going to cost you to dump him. No one is going to take Leo + 3rd even for future considerations. Would you take Alzner + 3rd for a 4th? Of course not no one would that's because Alzner and Komarov both suck and are on bad contracts

I mean, numbers don't lie. The fact that Calgary would allegedly be willing to trade him should raise a lot of red flags. It's not like Buffalo(dysfunctional) and Ryan O'Reilly.

Spoke to a couple of Kings fans. They'd do this for short and long-term gain

    Leddy, Komarov, 7th

    For

    6th, 7th

They keep Leddy for, at most, 2 years and uses him as a bridgegap for Mike Anderson's development and can also trade Leddy later on to a desperate deadline team the following season and get a better return than what they gave up. They have the cap to do it and Rob Blake would definitely do this.....unless he goes mental and trades for Jake Gardiner instead. 🥶🥶🥶

That is something I can see MB doing as well cause Leddy has value but my guess is it would be Leddy + 5th + Komarov for 6th + 7th.

And Islander fans will do that as well.
