Iafallo is better than Kapp rn. They are very close in value and I feel Iafallo will be a better player long term. Already this good on a bad team

Roy and Holl both with 1 full season under their belt, Roy is younger but both are late bloomers. Roy would be playing in the same position as Holl where he was a very effective #4D paired with Muzzin. With the roles they'd be in, the difference would be minimal if noticeable at all.

Iafallo is the better player but would probably be pushed to the 3rd line and we're looking at the same issue with Roy where even if hes a better player, with limited minutes/role specific position you aren't getting the same results as you'd hope to see

Dermott is younger and has way more upside. Who cares about Roy being right handed.

Crazy to think Byfyglien gave up so much in Winnipeg...money and his life style just to sign with the Leafs.
Makes no sense for the Leafs to trade Holl. Who knows Roy may get a lot more $$$ than the 2m bargain the Leafs have in Holl.
The obsession with other teams RHD continues.

to be fair I don't know how Dubas is going to navigate through this with the cap staying flat. Hurts the leafs significantly....

It seem to be a cap obsession on CapFriendly that only the Leafs have cap issues. Other teams have even more if they want to sign their own RFAs. Nice year even more teams will have big cap problems if there is a flat cap.
I personally think the realistic cap in 2021/22 will be well below what it is now. Gonna be wage cuts across the board. NHLPA members won't allow guys who have signed before COVID to maintain there salary when the cap was expected to be 90m, and the majority of players sign for scraps.
