I never said he has no value. Frankly, I don't think a rebuilding team like the Rangers has any business trading significant assets for a player under team control for less than 3 years.... I really like Gaudreau. But yeah, I don't think the Rangers should deal for Barkov, Lindholm, Hertl, Gaudreau, any of them. It just doesn't make sense when we're still trying to develop a ton of prospects.

If the Rangers move DeAngelo, it will be for a Center. More of a position of need, and one that a sought after RHD could acquire.

No point in trading away a major asset (as well as Georgiev) for an expensive LW, when we already have 2 expensive (and productive) LW's on our Roster for much longer term.

I hate to tell you that it won't be for a Center, because I can assure you that it will be for Johnny Gaudreau. My word is as good as gold.

A mediocre back up goalie, and goalies are voodoo any ways. A maybe 1st in 2 years time? No way, why should the Flames take the risk on whether Johnny re-signs with the Rags?

DeAngelo seems to have found his way, and is honestly a piece the Flames could use as a highly offensive right hand D, but that's the only piece with any value.
