I would agree there would have to be a one year test period. We have to know what Laine would be asking for before it makes sense who to move. If Laine is looking for 10 mil per, it might make sense to move him for a top 4 RHD and high end C prospect. If his ask is reasonable and his play is progressing further, I think you move Ehlers for a top 4 RHD.

It’s actually quite amazing what the jets seem to be able to do with castoffs and no name blue liners, morrissey plus 7 seems to be coming together all right, answer may come from within or bargain bin, but yes probably need some cap for the blueline can’t put it all in forward group and starting tender. I just about put laine and ehlers together as a bromance, keep both or deal both, kinda the continued build or rebuild. But yes going to be entertaining team for a while.

Yeah I agree, I wonder if there’s a deal to be made with Carolina that includes Ehlers + Laine for Pesce and Necas. (Obviously we’d have to take more cap back but something around that base.
