Basically every ACGM where the title has, “helping,” in it is actually just raking other teams over teh coals.

Okie for Ladd would be considered. Not Boychuk. JB's contract ends a year sooner

Calgary also doesn't do that. The book is out on Risto. Brian Burke even commented on Sportsnet that Buffalo shopped Risto to Calgary and Chris Snow, the scouting department, and analytics department all commented that the Flames need to avoid Ristolainen completely.

On top of that Backlund is underrated, the Flames need to add center depth not lose it, and they are stacked on the left side of their blueline in the NHL and in their system.

    Help who sign Hall?

This doesn't help the Flames sign Hall if that's who you're referring to.

Agreed. Isles would love to do Ladd for Okposo, but not Boychuk for Okposo. Doesn't help NYI.

I know about that, I for one am not against trading for Risto. However i would never overpay for him. To me hes very similar to Gus, a PP specialist that can often be a defensive liability. However unlike Gus he a RHS that's also a heavy hitter. I would consider a package around Bennett.

I would infinitely rather keep Okposo, even for Boychuck
