Description
Let Marky walk. Unfortunate but you almost have to. It is Demko's time to prove himself.
Hard to see the way the luck goes for the Canucks in the Lottery come to an end but if it does that makes life so much better going forward but I am building this team if it doesn't happen.

If there is anyone that might be able to get Ho-Sang on the right track it would be TG. If not he can just get sent down to the minors. Not a big risk at all.

Isles decline. That would be a last resort.

How are you going to afford EP, Hughes, and Demko the following year?

Both my teams are here!

I actually like the Islanders trade. Wilde won’t be fun to give up, but our prospect pool is very good and I think we can afford it long term in order to help out now. Baertschi could play in our top-9 for a season, maybe even play well. He’s an offensive minded player and we need as many of those as we can get to balance out the defense lol.

I like the Hawks trade as a Hawks fan, but no doubt the Canucks are getting ripped off. I don’t believe in “negative value” but Seabrook comes as close to that as you can get, due to both his play and his contract. Eriksson is a better player on a more favorable deal, I think Vancouver could find a better deal for ridding themselves of him.

I like this for NYI. Boychuk goes to Western Canada to be close to home, Isles get an expiring contract, but have to give up a good prospect. I'd do this. Nice job!

VAN will re-sign Markstrom, he is priority number 1.

Both trades are bad for VAN in the short and long term. I like Wilde as a prospect but there's no way the team will have the cap space to extend Petey and Hughes in this scenario.
