Detroit isn’t looking to move Rasmussen. We’d probably have interest in Pool party but not at the cost of Rasmussen.

Ottawa is the last team who would be interested in Alex "don't call me Chaysson" Chiasson

Detroit passes, not trading Rasmussen, I'd trade you svechnikov for him straight up

Interesting take, seems like a logical move with 2 stalled prospects but I could see why there wouldn't be a desire to move a player like Rasmussen

Hard no, would you take Benning for Seider? Didn't think so

Rasmussen hasn’t stalled, he was just injured last year and looked pretty good in Grand Rapids. It’s a real shame he couldn’t go to the AHL instead of juniors as he made great strides there.

2 busts who need a change of scenery that actually make sense vs barely an NHL player for a top prospect in hockey. You're off your rocker, Pool party has 0 value pal, it's a fair deal.

It's fine if you say no, but you can take wings off the list of teams to deal with then since to think pool party is the next Wayne gretzky, change the trade to a different team, wings fans don't have time for your homer trade

You're a foaming-at-the mouth lunatic if you think Puljujarvi is worth the wrong Svechnikov straight-up. Look how badly Jesse outscored Evgeni in an equivalent league. Unless Detroit adds a 2nd round pick, Edmonton shouldn't even consider that.

I’d wager they don’t routinely watch the Griffins and just look at stats. He isn’t going to be a franchise forward but he isn’t going to be a “bust”. I see him a nice complementary piece.

He's not a bust, but not a very good prospect. A poor pick in one of the worst drafts in modern NHL history. I would do that trade in a millisecond. Wings need more RH/LH balance and Pool is a cheap low risk option. Ras won't be a full-time NHL center, ever.

He might not live up to his draft position but he is 6'6" and he is very good around the net. I do think Holland made a mistake keeping him in Detroit last season. He should have returned to the WHL and finished his last year of eligibility.

No true Wings fan has ever called Michael Rasmussen a bust, Jesse Puljujarvi is a lot closer to bust territory then Michael Rasmussen.

laugh laugh Svechnikov for Puljujarvi is a lot closer to value then Benning for Seider, I mean get real here dude Svechnikov for Puljujarvi is pretty close to fair value. but we'll gladly do Helm for Bouchard if you want

I think you missed the joke/point of the Benning over valuation. But if we "get real here dude" Svechnikov is not fair value for Puljujarvi, we are talking about a recent 4th overall pick and consensus top tier pick that had been mishandled and misused by a mornonic coaching staff and manager. Now that he has re-established his game and confidence his value has climbed, no we aren't talking about trading him for a teams top prospect but his value is such that you could swap for a strong prospect like Rasmussen. Trading down for a Lias Andersson or Svechnikov, no offense, is trading taking 60 cents on the dollar which in fairness is EDMs style ... Hall, Hemsky, Schultz, Eberle etc

My hope is that the Oilers can convince him to play with them again, that way he either becomes long term with the Oil or other teams see his value at the NHL level again because the SHL valuation may have teams sceptical. If not try trading for a prospect who is also ready to emerge as a NHLer this season.
