Technically Russia isn't part of Europe, so you can remove Kucherov, Malkin, Ovechkin, Panarin, Tarasenko, Sergachev, and Vasilevskiy.

It's considered part of both Asia and Europe.

Not saying he should make the team, but maybe as an alternate and only player from Denmark, Bjorkstrand, he had an amazing year and was easily the best forward in Columbus.

Also shoutout to Chara as another D extra.

It depends which city they were born/ raised in. Most of Russia’s population lives in europe though, despite only accounting for less than 25% of territory

It doesn’t, all of Russia is considered part of Eurasia which means that all of Russia is technically considered part of Europe. From a hockey standpoint, practically every non-north american nation falls into the category of Europe.
