I think Domi is asking for over 8 mill. Also would you take 8OA and an AHLer for Reinhart, Ruotsalainen and a 3rd, just asking because thats about the value of Domi and Ylönen

Fair point. If I add the wing depth as Montreal has center depth then yes. I would pick 8 9 in a loaded draft without losing on my current top 6.

Devils laugh at that offer. Everybody knows Ristolainen isn't worth a pick that valuable, I'm sure as a Sabres fan you are also aware of this. Why would a rebuilding team give up a potentially huge piece of their future for an empty calorie point producer that's also a defensive liability? Come on.

Habs Fan here. Domi's not getting 8 mil, not in this financial climate. I'd wager around 6.5. His season's weren't consistent enough for 7-8.

Cause you have 3 picks and a mid to late first wont be ready for 2 3 years. And your GM has stressed about acquiring a big physical dman.
And I absolutely disagree with this site's valuation on Risto. He is not as big as defensive liability has this site makes him out to be. He was on the worst defensive team in the league. Look at the Sabres dmen before this past year. He has been thrown into a top pairing role with no support. He finally had support this year and significantly improved his numbers.

as a Habs fan, I take this. Domi would be a good fit in Buffalo. Never really thought about that before.

Replace Ylonen with a lesser prospect like Ikonen (or remove the 3rd as well and give them a 2nd or Mete). Ylonen is looking like a future top 6 guy and is one of our best prospects right now.

Fair enough. I don't think I would add a 2nd for mete, not that he isn't worth it but cant lose all our draft capital.
Im open to other prospects to make the trade work Ylonen was just a side piece.
If Mete was the other player in the trade and the 3rd was removed what would need to be added.

Habs fan here and I agree. IMO Domi + Ylonen is worth more than the 8th ovr pick, but Reinhardt is worth more than the missing value.
