Assuming Islanders pick will be between 20-24: Seth Jarvis if available at that spot...

Running on hope that management doesn't decide to make any trades at all an continue to develop the prospects the hockey gods left them...

As for Hall and Pietrangelo, I feel they should pick them up for leadership in this modern day of the NHL, Hall's a speedy scorer and Pietrangelo is a great defenceman and has a cup, this is a good opportunity for these two guys to join a very young and rebuilding team that already has great prospects and also a bright future for the team, rotten contracts will expire soon and therefore will also still have cap space in 2 years

Although I've got to admit that I do hate this team with a passion, I am jealous about the fact that if they do this or something similar, the rebuild will be a whole lot faster than Edmonton's and Buffalo's

Try 10.5m for Pietro and 9.5m for Hall. 1m extra each at least

I don't see them doing that, I can see them looking for a right-winger, not a righthand defenceman, they've already got Hronek, Snider and Lindstrom, if they pick a defenceman I can see them picking someone like Jake Sanderson, a left handed defenceman because all the ones they already have are expiring UFA's, honestly, I believe that the wings should pick Raymond or Holtz

I'd be shocked if they went for Drysdale because RHD is one of the only positions they actually have enough talent.

Though for Ottawa's pick I'd take Rossi if he was available.

I wouldn't sign all those UFAs. Ottawa has a beautiful cap situation and there's no reason to rush the rebuild by signing aging players for way too much term.

Pietrangelo is 30 years old and the team that signs him will for sure need to go the full 8 years. It should NOT be Ottawa.
And we don't need Hall either. If we do this properly we can be legit contenders within 3 years and stay there for a good 5+ seasons.
Also feel that's an overpayment on C Brown. We can get him for 4x4.
That's a BIG overpayment on Duclair. The last time he had 40+ points in a season he followed with a 15 points season.
This season he looked like a god and then scored TWICE in his last 29 games. Ottawa is NOT going to sign him to a long term deal.
They'll ask him to prove his incredible start wasn't a fluke. A 1 or 2 year deal under $3M per.
If he goes to arbitration it becomes one year deal and whether he's HOT or COLD he likely gets moved at the trade deadline.
