Vegas Probably still passes.

1. Montour doesn’t play above Schmidt or Martinez right now. So he’s looking at 3rd pairing.

2 They don’t want to pay a 3rd pairing Dman 3.85 (Miller) this year when the were tight to the cap, so I dont see them doing it next season either.

The roster is more of a base. I was looking more solely at the value of Tuch for Montour. I would assume the Sabres will also find a better option for a 2C.
