More Realistic Brodin Deal

Created by: DarthKane
Team: 2020-21 Chicago Blackhawks
Initial Creation Date: Jul. 1, 2020
Published: Jul. 1, 2020
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
I see the Strome for Brodin trade proposed often, but I don’t think the Hawks will part with the young centre. This trade is more comparable from a contract perspective.

Realistically, I don’t want to trade Murphy. Just having some fun with different trade ideas. I do think Saad will be dealt, although I don’t want to see him go.

Why would Minnesota accept that? You seem to forget they need C help not more wingers.

Murphy is gonna be blocking the way for Ian Mitchell. Boqvist is a lock for the roster at RD and unfortunatly so is Seabrook. So if we want Mitchell to play, and we should because he's more ready coming in than Boqvist was last year, then we need to trade a RHD, murphy being the odd man out

Another thing I don't get about Hawks fans. Assuming Ian Mitchell makes the roster next year...

He's more ready than Boqvist was last year and Boqvist wasn't bad at all. Mitchell is a better skater and better defensivly. Mitchell is 100% better than seabrook at this point, however seabrook is immovable and likley won't be in the press box more than half the games because the orginization has too much respect for him. Mitchell was drafted in 2017 and finally signed his ELC. It's time to see what we have in him
