MIN
  1. Cernak, Erik [RFA Rights]
  2. Cirelli, Anthony [RFA Rights]
  3. Johnson, Tyler
  4. Stephens, Mitchell [RFA Rights]
Additional Details:
My Minnesota math tells me that Cirelli for Kaprizov has to be close and Dumba and Hunt (a cap-strapped team’s dream) for the rest is also very close.
What says you?

Add Stalock, giving Tampa the most cost-effective non trash goalie in the league and they definitely consider this one

If that’s the case, what should Tampa add to make it more equitable for both sides?

How would you Tampa guys feel if Point replaced Cirelli in this scenario?

They don't take it run, Tampa is still eating $1 million on the deal Dumba $6 million compared to Johnson's $5 million. So it's still going to be hard to resign Sergachev and fill out the rest of the roster.

I think Minnesota is giving up too much. I think Cirelli's good but people overrate him because of his great defensive game. He's not a first-liner yet. I watched about 30 games in-person this year at the Amalie and he's a very good 2nd liner, but not quite 1st-line material yet.

I'd much rather move Cirelli before Point. But I think Point getting moved is a scary possibility.

It's worth it to grab the next Panarin on a cheap ass deal.

It would definitely be Cirelli moved before Point. I don't think Point is going anywhere, they can manage his cap hit. Teams just do not trade their 1C.

Possibly, I know there's no way that Tyler Johnson is waiving for Minnesota just to get 3rd line minutes. That's definitely not happening.

Brisebois would definitely move on from Cirelli, Before he'd even think about trading Point.

Like it for both teams but would Johnson waive his NTC though?

@Hedman77 What is your assessment of Cernak - both present and future?

Underrated. He's a solid defensive defenseman. Plays a more physical game than most Lightning players, which is something we really needed when we got him (and we still do).
He's a great 2nd-pairer and will surpass expectations for whatever team offer sheets him this summer.

Good to hear. I’ve probably only watched him play 6 or 7 times, but he has always stood out to me as a very good player.

He probably wouldn’t waive, you’re right...but, he is only getting 14:33 minutes a night in Tampa, so it’s not like he would get fewer minutes in MN.
