So I found some kind of rumor, but this is a fake site and the reliability is the same as that of Eklund rumors. I did not find other rumors. So yes, there is no faith in such rumors.

If Adams makes this deal fans will hate him, the team will not go into the playoffs for almost 10 years and trading Eichel for young talents will be a huge blow for fans who are already at the limit.

Well, rumors are different, if Friedman wrote it or McKenzie is one thing, and when Eklund writes it or such a site is completely different. Therefore, there is no reason to believe that Blake spoke with Adams about Eichel. That's why I wrote that this is a fake rumor.

That is some hyperbole about Vallardi being a 1C. I like him don’t get me wrong. But a big guy with back problems that’s missing an entire season as a teenager is a ticking time bomb. Also his skating could use some work especially if you are calling him a 1C.

It's not a 1st it's Byfield, who would've been 1OA in 2 of the last 3 years.

He has pretty bad defensive metrics, and unless we move Dermott (who is 23 and has room to grow) I don't see why we need Montour.

I don't think this is a very good offer for Eichel, Iafallo may be from Buffalo but he's a UFA and there's no guarantee he'll want to sign there, if he has no interest signing with the Sabres what could they get for him in a trade at the TDL, probably a mid to late 2nd round pick at best plus he's been playing on a crappy Kings team getting good ice time cause they have few other options which has probably helped his numbers, I don't see him as some major piece in this trade proposed here for an elite 1C with 6 years of term left, also trading Eichel sets Buffalo back at least two to three years from being relevant so at Iafallos age he wouldn't really fit into their window to be any kind of contender, really he's useless to Buffalo, I'd rather have Kupari if I'm Sabres management.

Sure getting Byfield would be great for Buffalo but the other two pieces suggested here have pretty big question marks on them, sorry this hardly seems like enough for a player like Eichel.
