Pilut Singing- Yes I know he signed in the KHL. However a 1 year overpriced deal to see what he can do isn't the worst thing in the world. With the extra money he can buy himself out of the KHL deal.

WPG deal will have to be overpay to get Ehlers (Unless the GM is as stupid as he was this winter to offer Risto for Ehlers)

Reinhart will not play in the center, so this makes no sense. Krueger never put Reinhart in the center, even when Johansson or Lazar played there.

Edmonton isn't going to make that trade only to lose Ristolainen to Seattle after 1 year, and he's not going to make their top-3 protected list. The only way they could protect Ristolainen is to go 4-4-1 which means they'll lose a pretty good forward - let's say Athanasiou, for whom they paid two 2nds.

Not to mention the cap difference between the players.
