The pick isn't good enough for the retention.

Sorry about that, read it wrong.

Mayfield is needed next year, and Isles already have a bunch of forwards under contract. Just don’t see him getting moved.

mayfield would play third line as holl is muzzins partner. So you’re trading johnsson(value 3rd and 5th) plus a third for mayfield to play third line and pk. That’s an overpayment.
